its not the exhaust that makes it heavier on fuel, its the bigger jets that you have to put in due to the exhaust leaning out the air fuel mixture without rejetting, so in short yes it will become more thirsty once the exhaust is put on cause of the leaning effect

naw, it actually did really well with the 29.5's with just the pipe and jetting. but what he has now is diff not lacking in power
