  • bitch calm your ass down shit

  • IN ORDER TO TWIST FROM ROOT U DONT BRAID YOU TWIST FROM THE ROOTS

  • its actually cute hun

  • your hair is so pretty but i understand why your mad i guess

  • This is why i do my own hair.....all the tugging and being extremely tightening is too much pressure on the hair.

  • gurl i felt so bad for u but i know what u mean some africans dont care about how you want it done they just do it......not cool but anywho yea sorry for that hell i could have done your twist for cheaper then that and charged way less i hope you didnt go there again.....

  • The hair style is nice, its also funny how you find yourself to be extra cute....It seems you like to hear yourself talk..I hppe the video wasent intended to educate

  • I love my salons around me, i just get cornrows(nothing tricky). She charges me $50,curved in front braid down back. Alway remembers me when i come back 2 get them redone. I live in the bronx.

  • @BluBerriBabiKisses90 basically ur just paying for time and quality, and when the quality is not that good then time and money was just wasted. I understand that it is a reasonable prize becuz it's hard work, but i think that for braiding it should at least b $100 depending on size and time. Any who..lol i must agree with you about the booth and the fact that braiding is hard on the hands. Plus partential clients are lost in the day which means the stylist lose money.

  • I think it depends on who you know and where you live. I'm African and I live in Canada and no one here will pay more then $80 dollars to do braids or twist

    .

  • @Dollieglitz I don't feel they rip ppl off from their money.. Charging $160-260 for braiding is reasonable to me.. I guess because I do hair I look at it differently.. $160-260 is cheap for 5-10 hrs worth of labor on one person.. You can make about $1000 in 10 hrs doing relaxers, roller sets, cuts and color.. You're missing out on money when you charge cheaper "ripping your own self off".. You still have to pay booth rent also.. Not only that, braiding is hard on your hands..

  • I got my Senegalese Twist done by the Africans at they house ha.. They start at $180 here.. Mine were $200 because I got they braided down pretty long.. Mine are smaller than yours.. It only took 6 hrs though..

  • I agree msiceprincess

  • African salons, no offense, tend to ripp people from their money. When i first decided to wear braids my mom thought that i should go to an african salon since they do an amazing job on braids, but when i found out what they charged i turned around in a heart beat. thank god i looked around and found a decent salon that charged cheaper. I know this vid is 2 yrs old, but i would like to warn others to ask alot of questions like the price, hair managing, and products. Its ur money so don't b shy.

  • yeah they do look a little big but in baltimore they would cost from $180-$260

  • there still cute bt she didnt have 2 use that much hair n yo head

  • @dacoiya braiding does not equal less breakage, that depends on how tight it is at the root. If its too tight every movement causes stress on the hair

  • Sorry you had such a terrible experience. Yea I think it would look better if it was twisted and not braided from the roots. Also it sounds like the braidstress wasn't too careful with your edges. Next time I reccommend doing it yourself, its a lot cheaper and YOU have control over your hair. :)

  • I agree with @phillyinnyc

  • $160 is great! Where I live in ga it's 200 plus...

  • yo hair look gud.but yo make up iz a bit much

  • Please dont take this the wrong way, but those twist shouldnt have been 160 first and next they look a lil messy (im not trying to hate) thats not right that she lied about doing it from the root. Next time go to Harlem.

  • WHAT KINDA HAIR IS USED FOR ROPE TWISTS,, THEY'RE STILL REALLY CUTE BTW

  • Sorry you had a bad experience...they did an OK job...they braided the ropes too tight thats why it so jagged..and not that smooth sleek look...I dont know why but braider always shave off like 3 hrs from the total time it takes to braid the hair...smh...whenever I am looking for a braider I make sure to see pics of their work...no pics no way...you cant trust what they or other ppl say....
