I watched this on TV, i had the fastest heartbeat probably, afraid that Pyeongchang would win, and more after "to the city of.... " in that short time i couldn't do anything before Jacques Rogge said "Sochi!" YAY!! Later i was happy to hear that.

I am from Venezuela but love Russia. Thats why I am extremely happy that Sochi got the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. You deserved it ;)

Perhaps this decision was taken under political influence. When could we say that any human matter/activity would be possibly out of the political influence? It seems that never. It is enough to see what is happening in China with Summer Olympic Games. However, we can not deny that Russia has an historical and significant tradition in winter sports. That country (under different denominations) has the highest number of medals in the history of the Winter Olympic Games.Whose turn is it? Russia.
