Frame 3:49 - 56, Mitchell states:

According to the apartment lay out, Madeline's bedroom was adjacent to the road and garden at the side and back of the apartment and was not adjacent to any other apartments whatsoever! Mitchell is lying through his teeth... that's gona give him a lot of painful cancer without a cure one day soon!
