@GnRSlashVR I totally agree! I too own a BMW 528i with an automatic gearbox (I want the manual gearbox though), but my god it sings. I hate it when people put a magnaflow or hartge exhaust on etc. etc. Because why in the name of god would you ruin the beautiful sound of that straight-six engine? And even though it's an old car, it isn't a cow that every single car on the street can outrun... And it's got so much style, if it's got a well-held and proper exterior/setup (stock).

@ChuckLoco it's definetly under 9, more like 8.

This a pre 9/97 528ia with a 2.93:1 final drive ratio, those after 9/97 came with something like 3.15:1, look that we drives 220 km/h @ 4 gear and (as it is mine) at 5000 rpm, and 5th gear @ 220 km/h @ 4000 rpm.

Not intended to duel with other cars, just to drive fast with low noise and lower fuel consumption

This must be an automatic gearbox. Much slower then my 528i manual

It can't be M52B28. It's just too slow. Mine does 200 km/h 30% faster than that.
