The pot was already 25K, Lex had to call 15K for a 40K pot, the pot odds are slightly favourable to this kind of play, so, mathematically, his play is not so bad...

@gollywogthegreat I don't agree with you, i mean there was a lot of history between them, Lex was really crushing the table showing lots of bluffs, Simon read well that Lex was outplaying Elezra and Richter with a squeeze play, so it was, then Lex found himself heads up and assumed that Simon might have realized he was stealing so his 4bet range could be very wide, so it was, pokerstove tool puts 67s on the best 44.5% of hands, K4s is 44.2% against such a wide range.

@gollywogthegreat Lex won 6 hands in a row (or something like that) from Muenz. Maybe he thought Muenx was tilting or if Muenz just wanted to pick up the pot. Mathematically ist's an awful call but if you look at their history at the table it was a good call

Right Im putting an end to this. Veldhuis did not have a 'read' there. What the hell was he supposed to read? the guys eyes? It is not possible to accurately guess an opponents hand after only one action. Its an awful call with K,4. Hes well behind any pair, crushed by anything with a K, behind any ace and pretty much flipping against everything else, the hand above is actually a coin flip. Mathmatically the call is awful and has huge negative value.

Weel People, in a intervieuw with a Dutch reporter: He said that when he raised he noticed Muenz Spot and reconed that that spot would be a good spot for a good player to squeeze.....he figured out that he 1:1.7 and Muenz was sick of Lex and if Lex called, he wouldnt be 4 bet shoved for the rest of the tournament....you Donkeys may comment on a bad play, but first recon the tougts before you open your donkey micro stake limit mouth....Lex Rocks!
