Metroid Prime Low % Omega Pirate Battle

This method is used to beat Omega Pirate in one "round" (before he ever finishes recharging at a phazon pool) with just power bombs. It's most often seen in low percent runs because it doesn't rely on the charge beam, but it's also the only one round method that works on hard. However, the timing to pull it off is very precise, so it's a lot more difficult than the other methods.

since you don't have gravity suit you coudnt of gotton to phazon mines so...

Omega Pirate follows two rules in choosing pools to which to teleport. 1) He never appears in the same pool twice in a row. 2) Of the available pools, he always appears in the one further from the player.

Manipulating him is easy. Pulling off everything else off without a hitch is the tough part. A bad draw on the colored troopers or a mistimed or misplaced PB can make things very difficult for you.

I'm confused. It looked like you already had the screen pointing where he was going to pop up like you already knew where he was gonna be. How did you know? And why is there a window of time where you can do this? Can't you just lay it anytime?
