Epic tale of Betrayal, Murder and Resurrection thrills audiences!

The newest offering of acclaimed Hungarian director Demonul Sandor opened last weekend at YouTube Theaters worldwide. "Blood and justice! The Story of MagyarDemon!" is both a taut political thriller and a classic horror film in the "Péntek tizenharmadik" tradition.

The film, based on a tragic real-life event, opens by introducing the great Hungarian "szabadságharcos", MagyarDemon. Soon, we are shown the twelve "mocskos bűnözők" who band together in a treacherous plot to assassinate Demon. The unlikely mastermind behind this shocking crime is literal vermin Jerry Maus, played by Cosmin Deco. Ashton LaBitch is well-cast in the role of Gusti, the pleasure-loving "Judas" of this vile brotherhood. Also giving a fine performance as Natrou is the venerable Razvan Blackovic, an elderly veteran of the once-thriving Serbo-Romanian film industry.

To add more "meat" to the story, the filmmaker includes an additional character not directly involved in the actual historic incident. After seeing Gheorghe Medve's energetic perfomance as the Chewbacca-like Ursu Carnivor, we can appreciate the filmmaker's decision to include this large, hairy-footed creature. "Of course, a full dozen evil villains are inherently more satisfying than eleven", says Fétt Böba, who wrote the screenplay for this cinematic Tour de Force.

The commercial success of "Vér és igazság! MagyarDémon igazi története!" has spawned two low-budget copies. The forgettable and poorly-made "Blood and justice! The REAL Story of MagyarDemon!" is by a previously unknown filmmaker from Zimbabwe. More worthwhile is "Response To MagyarDemon", a highly fictionalized version of the tragic event from the young but talented Italian director Alessandro di Turda. Sadly, neither of these hastily-made movies can compare to the original film.

"Blood and justice! The Story of MagyarDemon!" is one of the best films I have seen this year.

Próbálok megfogalmazni valami értelmes kritikát. Nem tudom, mennyire gondolod ezt komolyan. Poénnak még talán felfogható, de egyébként ha vissza szeretnél vágni annak a bizonyos 12-nek; na ahhoz ez kevés. Bennem legalábbis ezt a benyomást kelti. Gondolom sokat játszol, illetve sok fantasy-t nézel. Véleményem szerint az ilyen stílus távol áll a mi kultúránktól. Kérlek ne vedd magadra. Nem bántani akarlak, ez pusztán csak egy különvélemény. Minden jót! :)

Köszönöm a különvéleményedet. Természetesen a Blood and Justice sorozatom a poén kategóriába sorolható, nem is kívántam ennél többet. Ha kultúrát keresed akkor ajánlom a másik YouTube oldalamat: Mr666DemonX. Na ott értelmesebb videóim vannak. Mellesleg abból a 12-ből már csak 6 van talpon! :)

Hungary gaved up on God, this is why you are now disipated. How do you think that hungarians survived the ASSIMILATION of their nation, if this wasnt Gods will, he wants you back, but you must show this to Him. More than 60 % of the Hungarians from Romania are very old , you will disapare. You must reconvert your souls.

well what more can i say that almost all of my questions wheren t answered. To be a true cristian , catholic or protestant, you must show that. This is why Transylvania was taken from you ! You are like the Israelites, and only if your country will have more faith than Romania, than God will give back your land
