  • I hope you still have this NICE CAR! I'm looking for a 86-89 Celica with a good body. My 86 runs perfect, with almost 214,000 miles, and It's wrecked, so I'd like to use it as a working parts car to fix a nice Celica!

  • i still have this car its not on the road ATM but it has a 2nd generation 3sgte RC from japan

  • it ended up beeing a spun bearing

  • knockin like a jahova hahah

  • It's just a rod bearing. It's not a broken rod yet. Rebuild and turbo it, imo.

  • ha ha sounds like a 3sge to me

  • Well theres yer problem, you're treating a piece of shit economy car like a sports car.

  • @chevettesrme bahahahahah....fucking jahova's!

  • normal yota sounds.lol

  • shit man i hate that noise...i drove up north a week ago, 30min from destination my car started makin that same noise...thought it went from valve knock to the valve actually breakin off and falling into the cylinder. i thought the noise was my piston chewin the valve like bubblegum...mechanic took off the oil pan and said it was a loose con rod....does that mean my whole engine is toast? wud it have bent the crankshaft or other 2ndary damage? can i replace the rod only? please help with advice

  • lol i was gonna say, if it was really broken i don't think it would be running like that. glad it was just a spun bearing even though that's still a bitch.

  • usally you would replace all 4 of them when u have that problem. ur already in the block might as well change all of them..

  • ok its gonna make it worse if you keep running the motor. might as well buy a new motor. my miata had all 4 break and now i need a new motor because it seized.

909 gmc motors shouldnt be too expensive, check your local junkyard and find a motor to replace it. my motor is going to be 400 bucks!
