  • What productivity? On paper - well, maby. I know one thing. Whatever I do, whatever I take in my hands there is in a big propability it's made in CHRL, or PRL, or CHINA, sometimes there is nothing but it's still chinese. Chances that the stuff is made in US is very close to zero. Iknow you have some stupid answear to this. I don't care - not interested in speaking to marxist, tried it few times and it's a waste of time - just wanted to ruin your humour :D

    You export debt - poverty.

  • @SomethingNothingSea the problem is not that there are rules delineating the field in which society values market competition, but that big business now writes the rules and the system of accountability in the U.S. government is broken. Big business isn't being hurt by government intervention it's being helped by it. Do you know anything about corporate welfare? WTF see: "@Google: Lawrence Lessig: Republic, Lost: How Money Corrupts Congress—and a Plan to Stop It"

  • @browsemusicvideos you do realize that the shape of the overall income and wealth distribution curves are systemic issues that have nothing to do with the hard work of any given individual right? It is actually a fact that there are now fewer total available jobs for less pay and ""Between 2002 and 2006, . . . an astounding three-quarters of all the economy's growth was captured by the top 1%." Wages have flat-lined, productivity continues to climb and major corporations are reaping record profi

  • @thinkahol

But wouldn't that make for a monopoly?

How? Unless you use gov't force to bail out certain PC companies, the only way to gain a monopoly is to make the best product, and there are always people to try and outdo you. You might have a monopoly, but you'll need to work hard and make better and improved things to keep it, otherwise others who do it better... will win the customer's favor, and your business dries up.

  • @thinkahol

Do you want more jobs? Then make it easier to produce things that people want. Having gov't regulations to "make things safe" act as a barrier to new business, besides saying to consumers, "You're stupid and can't figure out that eating poisonous food is bad for you." If you know that the food is poisoned, are you going to buy it? Probably not. The business dies, and new ones that create stuff that you want survive, thrive, and live, unless other businesses do it better.

  • @thinkahol What is a job? A job is where a business (a person or group of people producing an item that is valued by others and which is traded for other items of value) has a need to produce many items, and needs outside help to accomplish this task. That's what a job is.

  • @lusulpher Who said it did ? You people are blowing everything out of proportion. Do something productive besides being a critic. Look in the mirror. You just might not like what you see.,

  • @browsemusicvideos Please explain how 'getting another job' does anything to end the endless sequence of incompetent business inheritors, racial discrimination, or capital limits to 'free' enterprise that I have experienced or researched?

  • @browsemusicvideos I also can get a job at anytime because I keep a resume and I iron my clothing. But once I have that job, I have no benefits, can have my hours reduced at will, am constantly threatened by newer hires, cannot arrange my schedule for availabity[even after being confirmed competent]. I will never go back to 'Fast Food' and 'Retail' is next on my fuck you too list. I can go back to college/army at any time, but frankly, those outlooks are bleak with the current financial model.

  • @browsemusicvideos I don't and can't, that's why I asked.
