what do you do with the hole you drilled on the forward end?

Where can I get a bending jig like that? I work for an 07 FFL as a builder and I'd like to start building HK types. The bolt drop test would be an automatic fail if I tried that with any of the century HK type builds we've had in the shop.

You should consider making a small production run of the excellent AR-18 design which is also made in the same way. Saw the original patent run out with all the drawings. There were even a LMG version with belt fed action on it.
It's such as shame the AR-18 never took off because now people have come full circle by putting gas piston uppers on their DI AR-15's. Makes you wonder.

I'd love to make CETMEs and HKs, but I don't have the money to buy an 8000 dollar mandrel.
