How to fix Gateway FHD 2401 monitor color cycle

For the past few weeks I've been having this problem with my monitor where it would cycle Black to White to Red to Green to Blue. I've tried the reset button in the Main Menu a few times, and it never seemed to work. Somehow I was overlooking the Factory Settings Menu. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has had this issue, so if you're experiencing it, this is how you can fix it.

I have that same problem with my hp L1720 lcd-monitor. I cant fix it, i use windows 7 ultimate and i cant figure this thing out... HELP!!!
