Fashions inspired by The Riddler and Matthew Lesko.

They're doing a damn good job of miming this!

as a garbageman i hated the sound of breaking glass. i was haunted by breaking mirrors. but this song doesn't sound like breaking glass. it's just _ cool :)

from a time when pop stars where allowed to look like car mechanics not pretty boys

Yes you are onto something there. There's a lot of connections between the two, more than just the sound of the song. In sound and vision, Bowie has the line "breaking glass in your room again". the song was on Bowies album Low which was produced the same year that Lowe produced an EP called Bowi. It's not a coincidence.

@danjp123 Yes I did Invent the phrase 'Nostalgia is the future of the past' where is this book and how do I get it into it, :) hahaha!! I love wordplay and paradoxes and stuff, thank you for recognizing my genius!!!!

3 people really really like the first few seconds of the song and were obviously pissed off. There can be no other reason.
-
The bass and rhythm are very similar to Bowies' Sound and Vision...i think that was intentional.

@Suicyanide001 "Nostalgia is the future of the past".... did you invent this phrase yourself? I think it belongs in a collection of genius quotations!!

I remember way back when, my brother who was a DJ at the time, played this song in his room one morning practicing his mixes. I could not get downstairs fast enough to find out who it was that was singing this song.
