Controversial Mavs Time Out Game 5 Wade Wins It At Line

Dwyane Wade gets a foul call, and wins the game at the line. This clip also shows the full video of the controversial time-out call where the announcers blame Josh Howard. However, if you look at the :16 second mark, and again at the 1:40 min mark, you will see it is actually AVERY JOHNSON who makes the time out signal. Howard sees his coach signal for time, so he does what any player is supposed to do---what his coach tells him.

Controversy aside, Dwyane Wade is a freak of nature and one of the most clutch, talented players in the league.

Looks to me like a miscommunication on the Mavs. Avery wanted a timeout after the second free throw so he was using hand signals "T" and "2" but Howard didn't wait until the "2"... when he saw his coach make a "T," he called it. Just a mistake.
