Cool design.. For marking stuff like that or anything like sign/striping layout use a strip of paper or masking tape with pencil marks. Flip it for the opposite. Great for flames and scallop layout. Lines of copy on both truck doors Called a story pole. Great for non math types too many hours on the job etc..and it just works.

Cloth tape mesure like the ones used for sewing..... Work great on curves...
