  • So the guitar is 7 years old. You do have to question how guitar owners store their guitars...humidity, temperature, etc. But really, the tolerances you're talking about are insignificant. I owned a Taylor 710 and it was wonderful. I own a Guild now that's just as nice. You can't judge an entire brand on a few instruments. Ship it to Taylor and have it repaired. If there really is a problem, the lifetime warranty should cover it. Every manufacturer deals with this. Taylor's aren't junk.

  • @jimbalaya007

    This Taylor is crap

I never titled the video Taylors are junk

    you typed those words :(

by the way I never said ALL Taylors are crap

    get over it people

read the title of the video

    THIS,,,,,,,,, guitar is crap

fill in the blank as needed

  • You know, there are 25 thousand dollar guitars you can buy that might pass your inspection but I suspect that you just like to try and impress people with your pseudo knowledge, it's seven years old and you live in a place where winter is harsh, the owner may have left this thing in his car for weeks on end in the cold or got it wet or over tightened the strings or a million other things, there might be 3 other people in the world that share your opinion so the 4 of you should just clam up

  • @MrJuliesguy

I guess you count as number 5?

  • i would never trust u to fix any guitar

  • @evhbeeman

    yes the wisdom never ends

go away Son and get some knowledge

  • You can't blame Taylor for what has happened to a guitar after 7 years. There are a million other factors that a careless owner/retarded luthier could have done to cause the issues with the guitar. These customers should go to a real luthier that won't bitch about everything wrong with the guitar and do his job and fix it.

  • Only a Gibson is good enough-----except for Obama's Guv-thugs who radied the factory and who have yet to file any charges.

  • @jimbalaya007 Place the blame for that lack of quality on our politicians going back at least 30 years, plus an apathetic and ignorant voter. People are just starting to realize now that we've been ripped off...again. The manufacturing move overseas had to do with increasing profit margins, not making things affordable for Americans. I've seen an awful lot of these younger generations you disparage working their ass off too considering they're getting ripped off.

  • @jimbalaya007 I would agree that Made in America means nothing. If you don't have a good crew and good management in place ENFORCING standards, they'll go out the window. Likewise you could have a manager in a factory that is churning out products that are good. I have yet to see that with all the junk I see in Wal Mart, however. It's a conscious business decision to send it out no matter what.

  • @davey4557 You tell em Dave!1!!1

  • @Antiks72 I will agree with that. Quality of many products has gone down considerably. It would be nice to stop importing everything from China. But even the "Made in America" slogan may not be all it's cracked up to be in this day and age. Americans in general (specifically the younger generations) put less pride in their work. I wish we could get back to that American quality that we previously had.

  • @jimbalaya007 That explains everything. Just because yours was great doesn't mean they all are that come out of the factory. Also, I didn't direct the comment that about buying shit at a premium price to you specifically. It's just been my observation that a lot of players look at a price tag and decided that it means there's nothing wrong with it. Quality has gone down in a lot of brands because of executive greed.

  • @Fourqmofo Sounds like Daves frustrated cause he sees this alot+ knows somebody paid big $ for guitar (this is NOT low-end Taylor)+belly shouldnt be swelling like this so soon. Brother plays a Taylor, he loves it. Ive played it + it's nice but I'll take my Martin over it especially for sound quality. However I have a way-old Gibson J45 that plays better than when it was new. Straight. It won't die. Gib has sweeter tone, Martin is louder, but I JUST WISH it had the action of my Gib.
