28Vikings28ALLDAY ? How could your dad work on them now as they farm out their maintenance to "AAR Corp" 3rd party repair facility? It must have been nice. Enjoy these MD80's while they last. Their days are numbered. I can't imagine Allegiant wants to keep the type in service. Too much fuel consumption for todays fuel prices. I'll mis the MD-80's.

I wish they would fly over the southern part of South Bend on final more often so I could see them in the evenings. I wish when they take off on week day mornings on this flight they would not swing so wide around the city but go closer to just north of 23 and the bypass so I could enjoy them at a take off power setting. It would make my day at work. lol. They have come over my works company's property on occasion but only a couple times a month at best. when they are all ready facing east
