IR-driven, webcam enabled touch screen

I saw a video on Gizodo of a guy who built a touch screen with a webcam and I had to try it. Here's my first attempt at the same except that I used IR as my source instead of visible light. Once I find a projector I will add that to this mix so that I'll have a rear-projection display with touch control. The software is touchlib.
