10. The software needs to be able to combine the images to video. I used Mediastudio (now called something else by Corel). I imagine most movie applications can do it. There is also CineCap - also at Moviestuff. Last time I looked they were only selling it with their machines though.
Hi, I'm afraid there aren't any plans for this apparatus - apart from the mouse interface electronics. It evolved organically from bits and pieces that came available. However there are companies that sell similar apparatus - Moviestuff in Texas do them for instance.
The basic elements of my machine are
1. projector (mounted upside down) with DC motor
2. Front silvered mirror to deflect the image sideways from the projector

4. LED light sources are also good - but I found there was a slight blue tint and the halogen was a little better
5. DC motor speed controller
6. Remove the projector shutter and fit a magnet + hall sensor to detect when the frame is stationary
7. 3 axis plus tilt mount for the camera (mine is made of MDF, bolts and springs - not ideal but works
8. Something to interface the hall switch to the left button of a mouse - I used an MOS relay
9. Frame capture/ animation software to get images
