Great video, Interesting seeing the inside of the coconut with the lavender color. Instead of pouring the wheatgrass juice into the coconut, do the opposite. Slowly pour some of the coconut juice through the VRT350 and flush some of the wheatgrass through the juicer so it isnt wasted in the auger. Just my .02$ ;)

Oh! I wont drink the coconut water or eat the flesh if it is purple either because I too have been told that it is bad if it is this colour.

When young coconuts are pinkish or purplish it's a sign that they are VERY young. The meat usually isn't even meat, it's more like gel. I just opened one about an hour ago like that. Gave me LOTS of water too. I got over 2 cups but very very little gel-meat. So yes... it's good! I just put mine in my smoothie
I would prefer not to keep purchasing seeds for my wheatgrass juice.
Is it ok to use the same wheatgrass for say a year? and would significant nutrient content remain after say 20 cut cycles? Thanks.

@ridemybikecooper I have been told that harvesting wheatgrass a second time is fine, but beyond two harvests will yield a nutrient deficient grass.

I heard somewhere that when juicing wheatgrass it is best to put the tips of the grass in the juicer first as you yield more juice this way.
Are you going to make raw food recipes when you have finished your juice fast?

@PointingTheWeigh Yes, I'll be preparing raw recipes, conducting interviews, and visiting interesting places.

@midcitygym - Thank you for the info. I looked into this topic further and found that about 75% of my google research arrived at the opinion that pink/purple = bad. I was able to find others who share your opinion that these coconuts are young and still to be enjoyed. So it is in my opinion, based on advice from my teachers (Dara Dubinet, Dan McDonald, Elaina Love, to name a few) that the pink/purple colored coconuts should be discarded. Please use your own discretion. I welcome your views!
