Hi, just wondering if you have a step by step of how to weave rattan onto a metal framed outdoor chair. I have 2 outdoor chairs and a love seat that had been covered in rattan, but over the years the rattan became rotten and now we just have the metal frames for these pieces of furniture. I would like to try my hand at weaving the rattan myself. Please let me know if there is an instructional video for this type of work (and if there is a special name for this type of work). Thanks!

i couldn't follow after 2:30 =(
The way I learned was to stuff the seat with pieces of crumpled brown paper bags. Old seats I took off were also stuffed. Is there a reason you didn't do that on this chair?

@emilnomel2009 Your quite right, even new chair seats in many cases have some form of filling in them. Sometimes you can use up the waste paper cord (rush) or you can use cardboard shaped into the trianges. If the seat has a thickish frame then I tend to use layers of cardboard. However the seat frame on this video example is rather thin and it really didnt warrant having any filling. A good point though and I'll take it onboard and add that info to my website. Thanks.:)
