RS: Flow of Emotions on Migration from the Land you Love

I have added first two lines in the song below. These verses are from Habib Jalib (bless him) {1928 1993}. He was one of the renowned Pakistani Urdu Poets of 20th century. His name and his poetry will live forever in every shape and form.

This song depicts why large number of people are forced to migrate from the land of their forefathers.

gham naa kar jo terii mehanat tere kaam na aa.ee
achhaa hai kuchh le jaane se dey kar hee kuchh jaanaa

(Picked every twig, toiled hard and build yourself a home
Faced hardships, had sunny moments, never did you moan
Cheer up my friend!! If your hard toil went down the drain
It is more blessed a better deed to give, to receive refrain.

terii qismat mei.n likkha hai jeet.e jee mar jaanaa

(Try to forget the days you were free to fly all around
Was thorn in the worlds eyes, those good times abound
Alas! who cares for the garden whose protector cant be found
With pangs of pain for the land you cared, your eyes in tears drowned)
