Fox stealing catfood

This fox comes to our house quite often stealing what she can - this time the cat's dinner. She is just a bit shy so we can't pet her, otherwise she is quite confident around us - once she even jumped into the house through the window.

She is more afraid of cats than people.

i in fact am surprised a fox is so timid. possums and raccoons are nice too, they seem to be braver than a fox, though. this fox is afraid of cats, dogs and ferrets - and especially humans. we here think the fox is the shrewdest animal, though.

Wow,I wouldn't know how to feel to react to that.I have only seen a posom a couple times and a raccoon up close,i guess there almost the same.

she learned that we are slow compared to her so she dares come close - for food. she would let my mother some 1-2 metres close but i cant go nearer than 5 metres usually. she was several years old when we first met her, so we cannot tame her i guess.
