I made a mistake when making this video. It is actually Street Scape and not Electric Boogaloo. Oh well, battle on.

  • I was in StreetScape. This clip is from 1984 on The Don Harron Show. The members were Wayne "The Saint" Headley, Colin "Steamboat" Bloudoff (the white guy!), Paul "Ripple" Lewis, Bradley "Breakin' Brad" Rapier (as I was known at the time) and the legendary Boogaloo Sam Solomon who danced with us for a few months in that year. Thanks for posting, an honor to be compared to the pioneering Lockers:)

  • @shooz62 Thanks for being a part of StreetScape.

  • this is two clips from two different eras......there is no clear winner because poping and breaking didnt exist prevalently in the early 70's......and the clip from street scape is from the mid 80's.....know your culture....im 24 and i know this SMH.......SMH=Shaking My Head for you older cats haha

  • @TheSdfadfdsf You are the only one that is confused. Its obvious that if this was an actual battle then both groups would have been on the stage at the same time. SMH at you over analyzing a obviously chopped up video.

  • Street scape Won clearly... the lockers did the same tired moves every time it was their turn. Streetscape did different moves thru out the battle... combining Locking-Poppin-and breakdance. The lockers did the same moves... the white kid kicked ass ...... maybe the lockers needed RERUN on their side ...., who knows

  • @FunkMasterRio you need to check your facts. Electric boogaloo is most definitely not a combination of locking and popping, its a combination of Popping (Pops/hits that course through you like a shock-electric) and boogaloo. There is some electric boogaloo but this video has a lot more STRUTTING than EB style. As for rerun, he was definitely a member of the lockers except he was known as Mr. Penguin, not re-run, when he wasnt on Whats happening

  • That white dude is a black guy in disguise.

  • The lockers a clear win

  • This was an audition for the McDonald's Hamburglar part in a McDonald's Commercial.
