REACH Week 2011.wmv

Youth, Adults and Children from Living Water Community Church, Ypsilanti, MI, performed a number of REACH events during REACH Week, July 18-23, 2011. They involved local neighbors by asking them to contribute toiletries to be given to the Hope Clinic in Ypsilanti, performed concerts at a nursing home, provided manicures for ladies in two nursing homes, painted a building that the Hope Clinic will sell now that they are in their new building, painted a deck at Dawn Farm, a halfway house for people conquering addictions, and did a ton of work on the home of a dearly loved member of our congregation. They collected 40 bags of items from neighbors and delivered them to the Hope Clinic and they hosted a "free hot dog" celebration event in the parking lot of a nearby school. R.E.A.C.H. stands for "Recognize Everyone And Communicate Hope." The song behind the video is, "Yvonne's Eyes" by Scott Peterson, who plays guitar on our praise team.
