matt harvey, the nation's top high school pitching prospect from fitch high school in groton, ct, shows us he can hit the long ball by launching a Ruthian blast that cleared the 60' tall evergreen trees beyond the left field fence by 15 feet and was still climbing when i lost sight of the ball. fitch high school was visiting jonathan law high school in milford, ct on thursday, may 17, 2007. fitch coach harvey celebrated win number 404 with a 12-0 one hitter against the lawmen. matt went 5 for 5 with 3 singles, a double and one home run.

That was a great shot, this kid may have a bright future.
