Tomo was enjoying himself even back then. I love that guy, he's always SOO cheerful while playing (even if the songs are sad :D) He's class and I'm quite sad he left Lisa's band but on the other hand I wish him the best with his family...Long live Tom Osander! :)

he's such an intense and sensitive guy... very deferential yet honest in conversation. and definitely sincere, not phony... soft-spoken and fairly diminuative in large groups without his guitar to hide behind, shrinking back somewhat from the more vivacious people in the room... but when he grabbed my guitar, he seemed to grow to giant size to match his huge voice (as if to illustrate this, everyone in the room SAT DOWN - lol - amazing) <3 him.

met Damien & crew in Memphis a while back. had the good fortune to hang out w/ him backstage after the show at the Orpheum, and he ended up playing 3 songs on MY guitar! complete magic.

he played hallelujah bc my friend & I mentioned we'd come to Memphis to pay homage to Jeff Buckley, who had drowned there 10 yrs before.
It was quite a gift on top of an already amazing show. very gracious man. beautiful artiste.
I hope I meet him again one day!
