Severe to Profound Autism, aka LFA (low functioning autism) seen here. Cases of LFA are not without hope. Case shows complexity of finding balance of treatments to improve quality of life and how ample SUPPORTS help. Never give up no matter how extreme the situation is. It's never too late. It's never without hope. You have to be their VOICE and advocate. Bring out the BEST in the autistic individual as per their unique and individual needs.

  • My brother has HFA, he wants me to tell James "Good Luck, Buddy, you can do it!"

  • @vktrtech How sweet! Tell him thank you from Jamey. I told Jamey what he said and he smiled.

  • I took CNA classes for this reason. I want to work my way up the ladder and become a neuropsychologist. I want to help figure out ways to help people like Jamey. He is adorable, and very handsome. He will get better. His Autism isn't a "death sentence." There is hope, and the medical field is progressing in great leaps and bounds. I love these very informative videos, and I thank you for posting them. I would have never known your plight without these videos. Thank you,

    Sincerely,

    Cheyanne :D

  • @UndertoneScreams Thank you. WOw, you wil be a GREAT CNA. There are so many families who need you. Lots of adults with autism are being tossed out of institutions now, as per the Lanterman Act, and are coming into community, some back at home and many famlies have special stipend vouchers to pay CNA's and LVNs, since it is much LESS to pay for in home care than for state to pay for OUT of home care. God bless you for goingn into this profession. YOu will be a blessing

  • Heyy what's the song playing ?? @WerdyBirdy he hits himself spontaneously , soo he has to wear something on his head so he wouldn't hurt himself .

  • What happened to his ear? Did he hurt it?

  • Im so proud merry christmas!!

  • Great job James! such a handsome man <3 and thank you for sharing this video, my son is now 21 months old and showing severe signs of autism " usually the doctors where i am dont look in to it until the child is 3 years" but they are wanting to look in to it now because of how many signs hes showing. im not sure if its high or low they are thinking but self stimulates does not socialize at all nor does he talk at all i feel lost at times but when i see vids like yours it gives me hope! thanks!

  • He is precious. I am HFA and sometimes I describe it as simple activities take up all of my "CPU" and like a computer, I can lag or freeze up(meltdown). I feel lucky I can talk to tell people to leave me alone, but I feel the world doesn't understand. I'm glad you try so hard. I think you're close.

  • lovely video

  • aww hes cute :) good luck james!

  • I really commend you! Keep building him up! You are an amazing person
