@tubfy if you choose just 1 edge/vertice then the corner or edge will just come out. choose a long row of vertices/edges and then extrude ;)

@tubfy sry, my english isn't very good-.-you have to chose more than one edge ( it doesn't works with lines, i think)

i need help when i extrude i just see normal straight lines, no cubes or squares

@Gr1mmReap3rT2 How do you extrude, and how do you subdivide when using this on a laptop? I'm new to the program.

You can also just use a plane, delete one point and press Ctrl to make new points around the outline of the car. Select last vertices and press F to join. then Alt + F to fill. Just a tip so you don't have to worry about thin overlapping faces as much. I guess you've already learnt that by now though, since you're starting young :-)
