I don't understand why people could hate this musical. It's a great follow-up to the first one because they did leave the first one a bit of a cliff hanger. The characters may behave a bit differently but that's definitely what life can be like nowadays, people change. While the show might have it's minuses, the Music is still very haunting, The settings and the costumes were very vivid and colorful and it still has its tragic ending and it really finishes up the story brilliantly.

The best movie i have ever seen it after the phantom of the opera . The ending part so phenomenal it made me cry and happy at the same time because in my opinion the phantom should have had her with him i was in so much tears just the most wonderful movie that has ever been made

Ben Lewis is good, but too theatricle for the role. He's a good singer and all, but Ramin in the london production is amazing. i hope he does the 2012 uk tour

NO! no no no no no no NO! DID YOU ACTUALLY GRASP THE CONCEPT OF THE WHOLE MOVIE?! RAOUL MAY HAVE BEEN A CHILDHOOD SWEETHEART BUT THEN THEY DIDN'T SEE EACHOTHER FOR 12 YEARS AND THE PHANTOM HAS BEEN LOOKING OUT FOR HER AND SINGING TO HER SINCE SHE LIT THAT CANDLE WHEN SHE FIRST CAME TO THE THEATRE!!! the phantom was always there for her, and he only caused all those bad things to happen so she could be a star and she would be happy, he loved her, and she loved him, but she felt safer with raoul!
