  • That stone is man made, it comes in a variety of colours and is called goldstone.

  • You can buy findings that hold your stones from any gem shop, some just need to be pressed around the stone if you have a standard sized cabochon, or you can buy bails that can be epoxy glued to the back of your stones, I would recommend you join a lapidary club to get the most out of the hobby, good luck!
