An excerpt from the KOKIyakkyoku radio show from a while ago. KOKIA singing part of 'you raise me up' a capella. I love it, so I thought I could share. It was never on an album or a single of hers as far as I know, but she so should do that. :)

  • He raised you up and now you have the voice of an angel, Kokia.

  • is there a full version o.o

  • Amazing! I always like her voice. You rise me up with your voice, Kokia. Thank you so much about it!

  • no matter who sing this song, but the purpose of singing this song is only one. Jesus, we love u.

  • What a sweet, clear voice... that's why I love sopranos...

  • @KiriYukimura she sings just fine in english.

  • Everybody should stop comparing her to Josh Groban. I love both of their voices to death, but they're just such fundamentally different singers that there's really no way to determine who's "better"; it's just a matter of which style appeals to you more. There, I've said my piece.

  • wonderful voice! especially, higher tone part seems to be much better than original by C.W.

  • @KiriYukimura

Japanese has double and triple meanings to their words... hell, hey can have up to 10 different meanings for each chinese character they use ^^"... much more confusing than english. Listen to her song she wrote, doesn't make much sense, but it is called "Yes I know"... BEAUTIFUL

  • @LuinmirAvafaila I don't think it's emotion she lacks in this but the heavy English enunciation needed to form these words properly. She is an amazing singer but with most foreign singers, she has difficulty with the English sound. Not a bad thing. We probably have the weirdest language in existence with double/triple meanings, crazy ways of spelling things and it causes a lot of great even amazing singers to seem as they are struggling. This is still Groban's song but she's an amazing singer :D
