Ozzy does not write on an instrument, or write lyrics. Bill Ward did all the lyrics in Sabbath.....what does he do, except sing like Homer Simpson!?? Talk about "Riding on Coat tails!!"....sheesh.....

before the blizzard of ozz i didnt even know who lee kerslake was..but after it he became one of my all time favorite drummers. i love his thundering drum rolls..his style made him stand out. when he and bob daisley were fired and then randy died..that band was never the same. sure ozzy has released some really good albums since then but none of them contained the magic those first 2 had. LONG LIVE THE BLIZZARD OF OZZ!

Right,right,Lee & Bob were Awsome together w/Ozzy & Randy.Lee's intro on Over the Mountain is Unbelievable (ecspecially since its Single Bass Drum) Dont get me wrong the U>S Band was great but they were hired guns Tommy used 2 drums to play that fill & Rudy played w/his Fingers.

An absolutely INCREDIBLE talent, Lee's work on 'Blizzard' and 'Diary' will go down as some of the best rock drumming in rock history. That c*nt Sharon Osbourne should be ashamed of herself for denying Lee and Bob Daisley the credit they deserve. Best of luck Lee!

How ironic Ozzy is sueing Sabbath because he feels cheated yet he dumped on Lee (and Daisley). The new Diary of a Madman release is just not the same, doesn't have the balls it did.

The reason Ozzy got on the radar. Lee Kerslake did a lot of work on both of the Blizzard band's albums. He and Bob Daisley wrote those songs along with Randy's input and stellar guitar playing. The rhythm section of Lee and Bob has yet to be matched in modern hard rock. Lee ranks up there with Bonham in my book. He plays in the pocket and kicks it up when it's called for.
