Check out the new Q7 Believers, an aluminum chair that can be configured as light as 14 lbs. beats Titanium, lighter weight, lighter price. They want Q7
I bet they aren't cheap. These users appear to have been injured in accidents, so they'll probably have the compoensation money to make their lives easier - which those of us born Disabled won't have.
@Chesbay53: It doesn't look like the casters stick out any further on the Q7 than they do on the R-2. I've been using an R-2 since 2002 and the wide front stance DID take a couple of hours to get used to, but IMO is insignificant because of the stability it adds.
Image IS important to many of us. I'm 59 going on 39 and I like my wheelchairs to perform well (as I'm sure the Q7 does), but looking cool is definitely a major factor as well. I think a cool looking chair projects a capable image.
Looks OK and glad to see Quickie / Sunrise Medical is trying to catch up with other companies in the w/chair industry. One complaint I do hear about the "Q7" is the front casters. They stick out too far and reduce clearance / access.
In regard to this video it would be nice to see a little something about the actual product. I feel as though I am seeing a lot of "selling image" here and little to no mention of the chairs features... is "looking cool" the only reason I should buy a "Q7" ?
