Tip: On your hazard perception, the video is full of minor hazards, don't worry about them, maybe give a single click to acknowledge you see them. But in every clip you should be looking for the main, deadly hazard, plaster it with clicks as it developes. Don't worry about clicking too much, keep your eye open, watch the clip, think "would i be covering my break round about now?" Although I agree with @CH3TT3RS, The system could be better, they could do this on your practice test day, in a car.

who wouldnt get the dvd if suzy perry is on it :L

I saw none of them...

Hazard perception ruins my life :'(

If you were to click on all those hazards you would fail for clicking too much. You can't even see details such as pedestrian on the phone, pedestrian crossing or obstructed motocyclists.
-
@CH3TT3RS You're right, but then they wouldn't be able to sell pricey DVDs for a test we're mandated to take by law.
-
they should update this into a application like flash rather then relying it as a dvd

Unfortunately, an interactive DVD video such as this can not accurately reproduce the actual Hazard Perception Test that takes place on a PC. The technolgy is simply not up to it and the number of practice clips is insufficient.

THEORY TEST IS STUPID NO ONE EVEN APPLIES HALF THE STUFF IN REAL DRIVING AND LIKE IF ANYONE REMMBERS

So the 2010/2011 dvd has exactly the same clips and commentary as my old 2006/7 version. And looks like DSA still don't provide clips that are actually similar to ones shown in the test. Ridiculous.
hazard perception is total rubbish, whoever thought it up should be out of the job.
Its a good idea but the way it is implemented in the theory test is just ridiculous

I've been practising my hazard perception on the official DSA DVD for my test on Saturday. The clicking is laggy so I do not always know if my click has been recorded and things such as speed limit signs are considered hazards on some clips but not on others. The whole thing is a load of rubbish and an unfair reflection of your knowledge. It would be far more accurate if they had someone sit next to you while you're watching the clips and you point out everything that you believe to be a hazard.
