nothing "technically wrong" with his steps, but being a finisher its immediately apparent hes not a pro. All these videos on here are a joke. how about a video made by someone whos legit. you know how, sorta and im sure it looks amazing to someone who doesnt do it for a living but you shouldnt be making any videos bro.

i do drywall professionally and this guy has no idea what he is doing. and your right that is a 12 inch knife not a 6 lol. and that is not the correct way to coat a butt joint maybe one day i'll make a video and show you all the correct way to do it.

Maybe you 'pros' should remember that these videos are made for the occasional-use homeowner and the like, not you. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this video nor his technique. It's a beginner's lesson... no need to talk about nuance or advanced issues here... just get the basics. How about a 'thank you' once in a while?
