American employees always get fired or layed off before they can begin to develop any sort of skill or expertise, nevermind learning how to entertain customers like this. Anything to save a dime on the payroll, and nobody cares if the customers are happy to be in the store. At the same time, they spend millions of dollars in advertising to get customers to show up. It always adds up that American management is worse than useless.
