Records MPEG-HD at 1440 x 1080. Nice camcorder..highly recommend.

Doesnt the FireWire export only DV Resolutions? Aw i think i works like a harddisk so its no problem, right?

firewire handles HD resolutions as well, 1440x1080

In my academy,I've used it.But if you shoot a film in HD mode,you must capture it with a HD PCcard,but I don't have,I just can use the 1394 wireline to capture,so the video samples I got are all 720*576,not 1920*1080,and the noise is too much...

when you are limited to firewire capture only, set the camera's i-link (firewire) mode to FAM mode.
this will transfer the complete files from the disc to the computer at the same resolution it is captured in: 1440x1080 XDCAM HD (video output is 1920x1080)
