Bingo sir. I play a 4-string acoustic bass and cannot get all or even many of Doug's voicings, but like you I learn from listening.

Love the 'Gershwin' sound, on the opening few bars. This is the first song I learned to play 'Chord-solo' on the guitar. I can't get all your voicings with six strings, but I have learned a lot from listening and reading the notes you post. Thanks Doug. This is what You-tube was devised for.

Thanks for the coment - and thanks for pointing out the problem with the link. I have corrected this - but better still, I have taken this video and re-cast it with scrolling notation and clear piano view in HIGH DEFINITION mode. See the 'More Info.. ' button above to link to it.
