  • i'm getting one of these as a company car. theyre crap dull, boring, cheaply made, unispriring cars ever built, granted they're better than they used to be, but 21k for an sri??? what are you thinking. BMW, AUDI, VW are all better cars, better speced and cheaper!!!!!!

  • @urbex2007 suck out you prick.

  • @joshieboi005 WTF are you talking about,? your not even old enough to drive!!

  • @urbex2007 Fords and Vauxhalls are just shit boring cars. Theres nothing special about them and in 20 years Ford and Vauxhalls will die out. Good! :)

  • You should get your Focus serviced regularly then and not mistreat it. The Focus and Mondeo are far more reliable than the Astra when serviced correctly and not driven by a woman. Get yourself on a mechanics course and get her some driving lessons!

  • i agree with you, there are still far too many faults on the H. The new one has poor visibility, smaller back window and windscreen which restrict the view, also a narrow loading space in the boot. The interior mirror is also right in the way like on the H, but at least they put a water temp guage back in. Good effort, but for a 1.7cdti it will set you back just under £23,000. NOT worth the money. Group 16 insurance too, also high tax bands. Stick to a Ford Focus.

  • I live in Ellesmere Port where the astra is built and I've seen the new one out and about. They have had to employ night time agency workers to identify and rectify all the MANY faults as they come off the production line. They haven't even sorted all the faults with the previous astra yet!. Plus several of them have BAD body work issues to do with bumpers etc. Fords aren't perfect but I'd have one over a vauxhall anyday!

  • I walk around a 1995 astra (102k miles) we`ve owned from new and it`s got the original starter motor. alternator, engine and transmission, steering rack etc, front dampers. Hell the battery lasted for 12 years..... don`t tell me Fords are more reliable. My wife drives a 6 year old rusty focus and we`ve had 3 alternators in that time + head gasket went 3 years ago and now the gearbox is starting to sound noisy. Rant over - Cheers.
