You can change the background colour (interface colour) in Bridge preferences.

Very informative. I didn't know about these features. I use the slide show facility quite often but I didn't know about using the spacebar. Nice pics you took on Dartmoor. Get back there in the autumn.

I definitely will. There are lots of great features in Bridge and most people don't realise how much you can do in Bridge.
