U dont have to change the [a,b] values in terms of u as long as you substitute back the original dx function backinto u right?

@MatthewHan95 I think you have the right idea. You can do it either way, but don't do both at the same time.

@derekowens Okkk haha. thank you! :) Is it usually more efficient to find the new u values or should I just sub the original function back in ?

@MatthewHan95 Not necessarily one or the other. One method may present itself as the more natural approach in a given problem. Knowing both is good, though, and some questions on the AP Calc exam might specifically say to use one method or the other.
