with path finding and the "unstuck" system in Heroes of Newerth.

I have the utmost respect for S2 games
and merely created this video in order to
make sure they are aware of these problems.

    Haha, ja det var en klan match och vi hade ett väldigt tufft early-midgame innan vi tog igen så jag var lite frustrerad, hjälper inte när sådant här händer ^^

  • Hey sence dude, the first "bug" with Slither, It's just S2's anti-stuck method

    This way, a teammate or something can't block you in and trap you, you gain cliffwalking etc to get "unstuck"

    It's similiar to Dota's -unstuck or w/e command, this one is just automatic

  • @adGMondo Yes I am aware of this, I made a generalization and called it path finding as well as it has to do with how the animation and movement is performed by the game. Sorry if I was unclear, I hope the video served it's point in demonstrating what needs to be looked at never the less!

    It's been common knowledge for over half a year so I don't think me doing this video will increase any of it. But lets hope it does, that way it will draw a lot of attention and S2 will look into it!

  • @Sence900p there isnt much they can do about it though. remember dota doesn't have cliffwalking because they have something worse. in dota, you can blink to a ledge and have a tiny toss an enemy to you and then blink away leaving the person stuck on that ledge. they could type unstuck to teleport back to base, but to prevent people from abusing that as an escape in every situation, they basically stunned your hero for 60 seconds before teleporting back.

  • This is kinda game breaking. I think there is a simple solution to that, no cliff walking while there is an ally/ennemy/neutral hero/unit/summon in a 400 AOE radius could solve this
