I live in Galax, it sucks. All your pictures were of the fair and the fiddlers convention... They aren't happening all the time! >>boring town<< I found this video trying to find something to do on a damn Friday night!

all i got to say is i grew up on the streets of galax and it is full of drunks rebels and meth heads its crazy but its the best place to have fun and party galax foever

@waynealarsen No I'm in the ICE CREAM VENDING business with a fleet of 'street trucks" and MULHOLLAND HARPER in Denton make a lot of our signs,,Especially the RWB (American Flag) canopy that lights up on the sides of Ice Cream Trucks. They are REAL EXPENSIVE

@ClassicRockfan79 Those other towns probably seem nice to you because you don't live there. Although I will say PEOPLE CAN BE CRUEL. Recently I had an older person I know say to me that he remembered when me and one of my buddies stole a car radio from a used car lot years ago. I had to remind THE DUMB SOB that THAT was my brother and one of his friends WHEN THEY WERE ABOUT 15. When they eventually got caught B&E the local WESTERN AUTO store they went to the army instead of jail.

@THEMOJOMANsince1959 yeah, you've been to Denton? it's a nice little town. I have moved back to Jersey after 6 years but, still miss being able to walk to most destinations. I guess your a Marylander too?

Such a horrid place to live if you are Gay, black, Jewish, or not a hate filled member of the KKK or the God hates fags club! I lived in this town when I was a child for a bit and experienced the bigotry, the hate, the ignorance. I am a writer and a filmmaker now and have a half way decent life but the scars this town left on me are both a blessing a curse. If you have kids do them a favor get them out out of this white bread hell hole!
