I weigh 170 now and will just keep going...my goal is to get down to 154 ("wedding weight") but I will allow my body to adjust itself to the ideal weight. If it means going lower than that, then great! :)
Don't know if you can really see the bloodwork papers clearly on the video, so here are the numbers:
1. Fasting Gluclose: 11/10/11: 86; (normal range is 65-100) 4/18/11: 92
2. Total Cholesterol: 11/10/11: 200; (optimal less than 160) 4/18/11: 143 :)
3. HDL (good) cholesterol: 11/10/11: 37 (optimal for women more than 55)
4/18/11: 38 (this is the only one that is NOT in normal range yet...doctor seemed to think it might take me a year to bring it into range)
4. LDL (bad) Cholesterol: 11/10/11: 120 (optimal is less than 100); 4/18/11: 87!!!!
5. Triglycerides: 11/10/11: 216 (optimal is less than 150) 4/18/11: 90 (that is CRAZY good!!!)
6. Blood Pressure: 11/10/11: 108/78 4/18/11: 102/78 the first time (when I walked into the office), Dr. re-checked once I settled down and it was 98/60...I told him I had been feeling dizzy upon standing or after crouching and he said that the dizziness was because my bp is TOO low, so he took me completely off Lisinopril! YAY! :)
I now wear a size 8-10 in pants. I think my legs and butt lost a lot because I am doing so much walking! I am still a L/XL in tops, though...time to start working on the tummy with a ab crunch video I got! :)

Please do not stop doing these videos. I just started watching this morning and they are so inspiring. The transitioning is hard because my husband and kids are not at all on board. I know that I can do this! You look gorgeous.

@Nosaltypeanut: Not an easy task, but it can be done. Ka Sundance sells an eBook of kids' recipes that you may find helpful in the transition. As far as hubby goes, sit next to him when you're watching YouTube vids at night...that's what Steve did with me...he knows it needs to be my choice because I'm stubborn. Slowly, by setting the example for me and gently educating me via his videos and conversations we'd have, I came around, and now I am eating more raw than he is! It can be done. xo

@luis04191: You are right about the emotional roller-coaster! I was addicted to food I have broken that addiction. What I am finding now is that I no longer use food to placate myself and numb my emotions, I am having to deal with some not-so-nice feelings that I previously dealt with by NOT dealing with them and eating them away. I have support in this and feel that now is the time! Thanks for your positive comments! Peace :)

@aRawLifestyle: Thank you! I FEEL amazing! :) I am SO happy and have so much more energy now! I used to need to take a nap every afternoon. Not anymore. Being overweight, I was usually too tired to play with my kids, but now, I enjoy it! :) It's amazing how much my life has improved in all areas because of my raw lifestyle. I love it!
