Mega Dome Over Terraformed Landscape in Minecraft (HD)

I worked on this from the 6th of October till the 18th of February (roughly 1,000 hour build time).

The base diameter of the dome is 161m with a height of around 55m above sea level. All blocks were removed or placed by hand.

The first two months of the project I did not use an editor (this includes all the glass used to make the dome and hold the interior water up). However, in the interest of time, I abused InvEdit heavily for the last 2 1/2 months. I did not use MCedit at any point. The file was up on my private server briefly until I took it down, hence all the structures in the surrounding terrain.

The texture pack is AaGeOn's BumpMaft (with better light and better grass) and can be found here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=65936

The first song is: 'I Know You Are But What Am I?', followed by: 'Kids Will Be Skeletons', both by Mogwai off their album "Happy Songs for Happy People".

All structures in the surrounding terrain were made by others while the map was on the server with the exception of the mob grinding tower and spawn point seen at: 2:53

Weird bug causes the placed snow to melt in a small band in the tundra region.

The minecart track featured at the top of the water ladder is functioning, take it for a ride!

Lastly, there are Nether portals, but they don't function properly for me, use at your own risk.

@nicandadd lol I didn't use MCedit. If you read the description, I tell you I used InvEdit AFTER the first two months. At no time did I use MCedit. imgur. com/a /bLrr4 (remove the spaces) there's some pics I took during the dome build if you don't believe me. It doesn't really matter though, I know what I did and how I did it. Frankly, I could care less if you believe me or not. If you were so inclined, you could look at the other 2 videos I made of the project to see the progression.
