Here is the newest addition to Robert Baslee's Airdrome Aeroplanes stable of replica WWI aircraft. It's an 80% replica of a British Dehavilland DH-2. About the way Sharon feels about her Morane. The Morane flies great and is like a mini-cooper with wings. But, that DH2 is one sweet looking and flying machine. Harvey says it's a real pussy cat in the air too. OH well.. "sigh" maybe next year or two.

Nothing is original on the replica. The whole plane is 80% scale.

Actually, very simple. It utilizes the popular tube and gusset construction that required NO special tools and can be done by anyone with a drill, pull-riveter and a decent workshop. All the Airdrome Aeroplanes kits are very complete and the directions and plans couldn't bee better.
