I am currently working on a project out of the U.S. and unfortunately my net access is extremely slow and highly restricted. I am unable to troubleshoot the disconnect between Google Docs and LinkedIn. I will re-examine the issue when I make it back to the U.S., although I am not quite sure when that will be. Your patience is appreciated.

any additional suggestions on how to find a presentation file that just seems to be stuck in google docs it doesn't show up in the list of presentations and not found when I tried the last and final step in trying to upload it?

@lewisfloorandhome - My only suggestion is to keep trying. I experienced the same issue several times. If you ask Linkedin, they'll say it's Google's fault; and vice versa. I nice thing is when your video appears and is posted to your profile, even if this issue occurs again, your posted video will still work. I wish I could give you a point blank solution, however as far as my research tells me, there is none.

Ok, I followed this as much as I could but am stuck at the part when the saved video is supposed to come up on the Google Presentation page in the box "Select a presentation" It tells me to click here after signing in. I am signed in, to google, linkedin and youtube, but when I refresh I still don't get my presentation to show up. Help!

This has happened to me from time to time. Occasionally, the Google documents interface doesn't play well with the Linkedin app publisher. Try it again tomorrow and let me know if this doesn't work for you.

Hi Jonathan,

Loved your video, I've tried about 10 times, but at the very top of the screen, after I try to "publish video" it says the video is only accessible by me and is set to private. When I try to change share options, public is not an option. I think this is why it's not working. Any suggestions?

I have followed your instructions several times. No video on my profile yet. Does this work on basic Linked in profiles?

Jonathan, thanks for this tutorial. Everything is okay: YouTube, GoogleDocs and and also Linkedin. Only but the very last button: 'Post to profile' I can select my video, it is visible from GoogleDocs but eventually it does not show up in my Linkedin profile. I tried this in Windows XP (I Explorer) and in Apple OSX (Safari and Firefox). None of them is effective. What can be wrong?

did you ever get a follow up answer on this as I am having the exact same problem - I have tried this numerous times and - all i get is the rotating pie chart searching for the file and I know it's not over the size limit as it's only 10MB.?? thanks
