Ebert under fire for 'Jackass' tweet

Film critic Roger Ebert has been slammed for a snarky tweet he wrote after Jackass star Ryan Dunn's fatal car crash.

Dunn reportedly consumed six drinks before his death. Alcohol has yet to be ruled a factor in the crash that also killed a Jackass crew mate.

Dunn's 'Jackass' co-star Bam Margera rallied in defense of his fallen friend. Commentators on Perez Hilton backed Ebert.

Ebert's Facebook page went down. Facebook said it was an error. Ebert suspects Jackass fans flagged it in retaliation.

Despite the brouhaha, Dunn will likely be remembered more for how he lived than how he died.
