Good to know! Living in Holland, I watch EMSC for European events. I compare both and see other figures. eq. USGS rate 6.2 while EMSC rates it a 6.4. Depth's often don't even match. Do you remember the upgrade count on the big one in Japan hour after hour? You can almost start a live worldwide eartquake channel 24/7. I noticed from the European EMSC doesn't display English E.Q.'s. They have their own site. I'm wondering where Earthquake 3D has it figures from..

I'm assuming they were re-recorded based on eliminating the aftershocks of Japan's Big One, since unless they hold significance aftershocks can't be counted as a single EQ occurrence since they are brought on by a previous EQ
It makes sense

I emailed usgs about this a few weeks ago, they sent me a message saying that it was in their rules to show or not show, earthquakes, and not display UK or others at their discretion. Check out other parts of the world, there are earthquakes everywhere. USGS don't show them, so much for worldwide!!!!
